Lucas Museum
of Narrative Art
I built the first in-house design function for the Lucas Museum, a $1 billion, 100,000-square-foot cultural institution, from the ground up ahead of its September 2026 opening.
The founders believe art deserves minimal intervention, space to be discovered rather than explained, so I shaped the museum's visual language around that belief: restraint over decoration, orange used with intention, an image-forward approach that keeps the art as the hero, applied across ticketing, wayfinding, signage, maps, title walls, and object labels.

In collaboration with the digital team and two outside agencies, I directed design for the museum's visitor-facing digital products, the website, and the Lucas Museum Digital Guide, an opt-in mobile experience using image-recognition so visitors can scan artworks, access tickets, and navigate with an interactive map.
